United States Pavilion (exterior)
| Former United States pavilion. After Expo the building was taken over by the Canadian government which transformed it into The Biosphere, a museum dedicated to water. On May 21, 1976 a welder's torch set fire to one of the transparent gray Plexiglas acrylic plastic lenses that covered the building and the fire quickly consumed all of the lenses which have never been replaced. |
