About the Expo 67 Passports
by Bruno Paul Stenson, MA
There were passports for three age groups at Expo 67:
children (2 - 12 years old), youth (13 - 21 years old), and adult (over 21
years old). Children up to age 2 got in for free. There were also 3 passport
durations: 1 day, 7-day and season. The covers differed from one passport to
the next according to the age group and the duration:
- Child, 7-day: blue cover with silver print.
- Child, season: red cover with silver print.
- Youth, 7-day: white cover with blue print.
- Youth, season: white cover with red print.
- Adult, 1-day: blue card with gold print.
- Adult, 7-day: blue cover with gold print.
- Adult, season: red cover with gold print.
(Note I do not have any child or youth 1-day passports, so
I can't tell you what what colour they were, though they were certainly just a
card like the adult 1-day passport.)
Of course, each passport was identified by age group and
duration in print on the first page (after the cover).
